Color By Number
Did you know that most Benjamin Moore and Sherwin-Williams colors are available from StarMark and it’s your choice to either order a sample door or or waive that option?
For StarMark’s Color by Number program. Follow these steps:
1. Browse Benjamin Moore (BM) and Sherwin-Williams (SW) available colors and make a note of the brand, the color number, and the color name. From here you may either order a sample door or step right into the order process.
2. Once you are ready to order, we will complete a Starmark custom quote request on your behalf to include the maple door style of your choice and the BM/SW color details.
3. Review the quote and Color Sample Form to make sure you understand the normal color variations found from color swatch to color swatch and from paper media to solid wood. Sign and date the form.
Please note these details:
- This program applies only to Sherwin-Williams or Benjamin Moore paint colors. The brand, color number, and color name are required.
- Available on Maple only.
- The upcharge is 15%.
- The lead time on your order may be extended.
- Not available with glazes, Matte Top Coat, Spattering, Specialty Finishes, or any distressing techniques.
- A signed expectations form is required with the order when placed.
- A sample door is not required but is still the advised method of review. the cost is $200 for a 13′ x 16″ sample door, and most samples will ship via FedEx within 12-15 business days.

- Both have a standard lead item unless extended lead time items are included in the order. The lead time begins when the order is entered at StarMark is step five not step one.
- Not all samples can be color matched.
- No custom finish cabinetry order can be entered without having a door sample on file that has been approved by the purchaser.
- A minimum of two door samples is required for order processing.
- The cost to finish a 13×16″ door sample in a custom color is $200, and a face frame & door sample is $300.
- Additional door samples may be required for homeowner approval, with charges applied for each.
- If the cabinetry order does not meet the a minimum threshold of $20,000 list, then a setup fee of $900 will apply.

- Specify Distressing techniques

- Revie the sample door and sign the Custom Color approval form, which must be sent with the cabinetry order.
- Orders will not be processed without a signed approval form.
- This form must be received within 90 days of the sample date.
- Samples are retained for 6 months; after that, a new sample is required.
- Starmark will enter your order, apply the finish charge and a set up fee if applicable. Promotional discounts can not be applied to custom finish orders.
