The Corner Cabinet

Gil Foss has been with The Corner Cabinet since 2001.   “I enjoy the challenge of designing a unique space for my customers to enjoy with their family and friends. My strength is in my attention to detail and in my ability to maximize the function of the space. Proper distribution of counter top, balancing the appliance locations, and managing the flow of the activities and traffic are all carefully considered. I try to engage each customer in order to better understand what is most important to them in their kitchen. Ultimately my success is a direct result of their feedback and the application of the skills I’ve acquired over the last  twenty years.”

The son of a Vermont builder, Chad Smith owned and operated a Concord, MA remodeling firm that specialized in kitchens for 11 years before training for design and joining The Corner Cabinet in 2003.  Chad believes the design phase is the time to get personal. “There’s a little piece of me in every kitchen I design, but I take my cues from my customers.   No matter what the budget is, or how extensive the wish list, designing should bring out the very best of aesthetics and function.  If I’m not hearing a ‘wow’ when I’ve finished my design, I know I’m missing an opportunity.  I want to hear ‘wow’.  If not, it's back to the drawing board.”

Gerry Turcotte has been with The Corner Cabinet since 2002.  “Ever since buying my first house, I took it upon myself to do repairs and home improvements and really enjoyed it. My work was always complimented which made me feel good. I started designing kitchens 22 years ago and have never looked back. It is a great feeling to give someone the kitchen they always wanted and to know that you were an important part of that process.”
